I had one of those Jenn air ranges with the grill - pain in the ass to clean. Never again on one of those. The last glass top range I had was pretty easy to clean as long as you used the cleaner made for it.

You are correct they no longer make the "pilot" light kind of stoves. We have a generator so power outages aren't really an issue.

Good point, except I don't ever watch those cooking shows 😜. I actually like to cook and experiment with new things. Because I have always had electric appliances, I was torn about which way to go. Now I know.

Definitely a celebration of life. Where everyone is welcome and allowed to grieve in their own way. Telling funny stories, crazy times, sweet moments. My husband and so have also told each other that whatever decisions are made, know it's ok. If something should happen all we want is for the other to find happiness again, however that happens.

$400 for a watch is not that much. I have a Citzen watch that cost that much. But I didn't take a vow of poverty and I don't go around telling people to send all their money to me. I also agree that the prices previously were higher, and we don't know if it is solid gold or gold plated or any other variation.

My sister tried the same things with me, even having my 4 year old niece ( at the time) relay the Jehovahs is going to kill you message. When I wouldn't engage she became even more enraged and tried other more bizarre threats. Now she leaves me alone because I won't enagage.
She has sent notes to her DF'd son about how Jehovah is going to kill his baby if he doesn't return. Ummm yeah makes me want to run back. Plus isn't it supposed to be Jehovah who judges people's "hearts" not our sisters? Sorry your family is crazy too :-)
edit: Once they can't scare you anymore they have got nothing left to compel you to return.
